Latest Thomas Baker on Quantum Error Correction and the Skills Students Need for Tomorrow 6 weeks ago
Frank La Vigne (data scientist, podcasting since 2013) and Candice Gillhoolley translate quantum for working software engineers. Episodes treat concepts like superposition, Grover, and VQE the way you'd treat a new programming framework: what does it do, what's the API surface, when would you actually reach for it. If you write code for a living and find pure-physics quantum intros too dry, this is your show.

Hosted by Ethan Hansen · since 2020
Latest Happy World Quantum Day! A recap 2 months ago
Ethan Hansen's independent show, going since 2020, has the strongest 'explain it like I'm new' instinct on this list. Episodes alternate between news roundups and 1:1 interviews with researchers, with Ethan asking the dumb-sounding-but-actually-load-bearing questions that most quantum podcasts skip. The single best starting point if you're new to the field and want one podcast to subscribe to.

Latest NVIDIA Architect Warns We Might Need to Rip and Replace Hardware for PQC – with TCG 6 weeks ago
Konstantinos Karagiannis (Director of Quantum Computing Services at Protiviti) runs the canonical PQC-readiness podcast for enterprise. Episodes lean security and cryptography over hardware: NIST PQC standards, harvest-now-decrypt-later mitigation, who's actually testing CRYSTALS-Kyber in production. Bi-weekly, no quantum-evangelist hype. If you're a CISO writing a Q-Day roadmap, this is the source.

Hosted by Murray Thom · D-Wave · since 2026
Latest Rethinking Warehouse Operations with Quantum 7 weeks ago
D-Wave's official show on annealing-based quantum in industry. Murray Thom (VP, Quantum Technology Evangelism) brings on the engineers at Toyota, Mastercard, and other operators who actually have D-Wave hardware in their workflow. The frame is always 'what shipped, what didn't, what's next quarter' rather than 'someday quantum will change everything', which keeps it useful even if you don't use D-Wave.

Hosted by Anders Indset · since 2025
Latest What Nobody Tells You About Qubit Count 2 months ago
Anders Indset (Norwegian business thinker, author of The Quantum Economy) interviews quantum founders, investors, and policy thinkers about how the technology reshapes economic systems and decision-making. Guests have included Nobel laureate John Martinis, Steve Brierley (Riverlane), Simone Severini (Google Quantum AI), and Goldman Sachs executives. Less product-focused than other shows on this list; the angle is philosophy plus business strategy, asking how quantum changes the rules rather than what it ships next quarter.

Hosted by Yuval Boger · QuEra · since 2022
Latest Klea Dhmitri, Application Engineer, Hamamatsu Corporation 6 weeks ago
Yuval Boger (CCO at QuEra, ex-Classiq, ex-Sensics) brings vendor representatives from across the quantum stack: hardware, software, networking, sensing. Because Yuval has worked across multiple QC companies, he asks the operator-on-operator questions journalist-hosted shows can't reach: pricing, sales motions, why customers chose them over the competitor. Built for people considering buying or selling quantum, not just learning about it.

Latest S2E12 - Quantum Thermodynamics with Jake Xuereb 2 years ago
Steven Thomson (quantum physicist) and Jess Catton interviewed quantum researchers about their careers more than their papers: how they got into the field, what their day-to-day looks like, what they wish they'd known. Last episode 2023, so this is back-catalog now, but the archive is still the best single source on 'what does a quantum research career actually feel like'.

The Quantum Divide
On hiatusHosted by Dan Holme & Stephen DiAdamo · since 2023
Latest Controlling Qubits in Milan, with Lorenzo Leandro, Quantum Machines. 20 months ago
Dan Holme (Cisco) and Stephen DiAdamo (Cisco quantum networking research) drill into quantum networking specifically: entanglement distribution, repeater architectures, the emerging quantum-internet protocol stack. Topic that almost every other podcast on this list either skips entirely or covers at the surface. If you work in networking or telecom and want to know what 'quantum' actually means for your domain, this is the only show worth your time.
