QNickel is QWorld’s elementary follow-on to QBronze. The public page describes a notebook collection on oracular quantum algorithms, with Qiskit and Cirq versions. The notebooks live at gitlab.com/qworld/nickel and can be worked through without waiting for a workshop. QWorld and its QCousins also run mentored QNickel sessions.

The published outline covers a Qiskit and Cirq recap, classical gates and phase kickback, then Deutsch, Deutsch-Jozsa, Bernstein-Vazirani, Simon, and Grover applied to Max-Cut. Prerequisite stated there: Bronze or a similar Qiskit course.

QSilver is the other QWorld follow-on, aimed at QFT and Shor rather than oracles. Do Nickel if you want the query-algorithm family; do Silver if you want the Fourier toolkit.

Who it is for

People who finished QBronze (or equivalent Qiskit basics) and want the Deutsch-to-Simon ladder with programming tasks. Not a first course.
