A scheduled workshop, not the self-paced Black Opal product. Q-CTRL’s landing page describes a hybrid format: self-paced Black Opal modules first, then a live half-day (they also say it may be an intensive single day) led by Q-CTRL and qBraid instructors. You register interest; there is no public sticker price on that page.
Published modules cover industry use cases (scheduling, routing, facility location, portfolio optimisation, protein folding), mapping a problem onto hardware, reading noisy results, running an optimisation with real data on cloud hardware via Fire Opal and qBraid Lab, and a high-level look at forecasting quantum advantage. Fire Opal is Q-CTRL’s error-suppression layer: they advertise a single-command execute so the workshop does not require specialist pulse-level coding.
This is not Fire Opal or Boulder Opal documentation. Those are software products with their own docs. This listing is only the instructor-led course.
Who it is for
Teams that already have (or will complete) the Black Opal fundamentals and want a live, hardware-backed applications day. Individuals should start with Black Opal. For buying seats, see team training.
